Introduced in 1983, the Panthère was conceived as much as a jewellery object as a timekeeping instrument, its supple interlocking bracelet links drawing directly from Cartier's jewellery tradition. Since its introduction, the Panthère has remained one of the few watch references defined as much by its bracelet construction as its dial.
